Low sperm count sucks – And that’s not just because it screws with your ability to conceive a child, but because it also has several other impacts on your overall health.
There are ways to stop low sperm count from happening, though. Or should I say there are ways to increase your sperm count? Either way, there are ways to combat the problem.
Before combating the problem, however, you have to know what the problem is. Below, I’m going to make you aware of the main signs and symptoms that will have you wondering, “Do I have low sperm count?” That way, once you’re aware of the signs and symptoms, you’ll be able to stop them in their tracts.
Check it out.
Conception
As stated in my opening statement, low sperm count makes it difficult to conceive a child.
Don’t freak out, though. If you’ve only been trying for a few months, don’t give up hope. It’s likely that your sperm count is not the issue. However, if you’ve been trying for over a year, it may be time to talk to your doctor and make sure your sperm are healthy and plenty.
Hormonal Issues
Though this sign/symptom is incredibly rare, it can still happen. Hormonal problems do affect a small percentage of men when it comes to low sperm count.
How do you know if you have hormonal issues?
Two of the most common symptoms of hormonal issues are lack of facial hair and lack of muscular definition.
Once again, don’t freak out. If you only shave your hair once a week, don’t immediately come to the conclusion that low sperm count is your problem. Think about it this way: If you have signs/symptoms such as lack of facial hair or lack of muscular definition, that doesn’t mean you have a sperm count issue; it just means you have a hormonal problem. Go get it checked out by your doctor to see how you can prevent it and what steps should be taken for the future.
Additional issues that may point to a hormonal issue or low sperm count would be having a low sex drive or having trouble maintaining an erection.
Deep Voice
If you have a deep, high-pitched voice, you should be in the clear. Studies have proven that men who have deep, high-pitched voices don’t have issues with sperm count. On the other hand, men with low-pitched voices tend to have such issues.
Why is this? The connection could possibly be because men who have deep, high-pitched voices tend to have an appropriate amount of testosterone in their bodies. Those with low-pitched voices tend to lack the appropriate testosterone needed. Testosterone deepens a man’s voice, but if there’s too much testosterone or too little testosterone, it can really impact the sperm production within the body.
Lifestyle Choices
Do you have a spare tire around your gut? Do you tend to feed that spare tire things like beer, processed meats, and carbonated drinks? If so, I’ve got bad news for you: Your sperm count may be low.
On the other hand, if you eat a lot of white meat fish and a lot of fatty fish, your sperm count will go up. Also, if you workout and keep up with lifting weights on a regular basis, you’ll increase your sperm count (mainly because working out increases testosterone and testosterone increases sperm count).
However, there is one exercise not recommended to help with sperm count: Bicycling. It probably has to do with the amount of pressure the seat puts on the scrotum during the activity.
Other lifestyle choices that may lead to low sperm count are:
- Drug usage
- Alcohol usage
- Cigarette smoking
- Eating a diet filled with pesticides and hormones
- Eating foods that contain soy
- Having electromagnetic fields near your scrotum (keeping your cell phone in your pocket or your laptop on your lap)
- Stress
Medical History
Sexual dysfunctions and erectile dysfunctions are definitely reasons your sperm count may be lower than usual. In addition, having a history with prostate or testicular cancer may affect your sperm count. Painful sensations, swelling, and lumps in the area where your testicles are located can have something to do with it, too.
Surgery in such areas makes it difficult to produce adequate amounts of sperm as well.
Now, what’s the next step? The next step is to figure out what’s going on with your sperm according to the above information and to take control of the issue.
If you did need a little extra help, try an all-natural male sex enhancement supplement.
This gets the job done the right way. It increases sperm count while also helping you out in departments such as performance, stamina, endurance, and libido. With this little capsule, you’ll be on your way to a better sex life in no time.
